Private reflective AI guidance for people affected by cancerNot medical advice · Not diagnosis · Not emergency support
Soft light. Private reflection. No scoring. No judgement.

A private place to say what cancer is doing to your life.

OurSteadyGround helps people living with cancer, family members, carers and others close to them organise what feels present—emotionally, physically and practically—before beginning a personalised reflection.

This is a reflection aid. It does not diagnose, recommend treatment, provide prognosis, or replace appropriate professional support.

Before the main reflection begins

Before the main reflection begins, you’ll be asked four short questions, one at a time. Each question offers a few simple choices, with space to answer in your own words. Your answers are not a score or assessment. They are used only to help the reflection begin in a way that feels more personal and relevant to what you are carrying right now.

Once you have answered all four questions, your responses will be brought into the main reflection session as a personalised conversation starter. You will not need to explain everything from the beginning, and you can change, add to, or leave out anything as the conversation develops.

Your reflection is private to your session. Share only what feels comfortable, and avoid entering information that could identify you unless you are comfortable doing so.

Personal, not clinical

The questions help the reflection begin around what matters to you today. They do not produce a medical or psychological assessment.

One question at a time

There are only four short questions. Each includes simple choices and an optional space for your own words.

No need to start again

Your answers become the opening context for the main reflection, so the conversation can begin from where you are now.

Questions before you begin

Is this medical advice?

No. It is a private reflection aid. It does not interpret symptoms, recommend treatment, give prognosis, or replace your healthcare team.

Who can use it?

It is intended for people living with cancer and for family members, carers, friends or others affected by a cancer diagnosis.

Do I need to know what to say?

No. The four questions give the main reflection enough context to begin gently. You can then change direction at any time.

What should I avoid sharing?

Avoid names, addresses, medical record numbers or other identifying details unless you are comfortable including them.
